Road Trip

Once the world reopened after the pandemic, I eagerly set out to explore again. What started as a short road trip through Europe quickly grew beyond anything I’d expected. So far, I’ve covered over 84,000 miles across 96 countries. Now, I’m in Asia, making my way toward Australia ...and hopefully beyond.

Europe

32,000 miles  ·  2 years
My journey began in Augsburg, Germany, my hometown. From there, I explored most countries in Europe, spending over two years immersed in the continent’s diverse cultures and landscapes. To support my travels, I work remotely, carrying all my equipment with me. Many times, I take breaks to focus on work, allowing me to continue my journey while maintaining my career.

Africa

30,000 miles  ·  6 months
After Europe, I ventured into Africa, driving along the west coast all the way down to the continent’s southernmost point in South Africa. Along the way, I teamed up with Theresa to visit iconic national parks like Etosha and Chobe, where we explored incredible wildlife. From there, I traveled up to Kenya, but due to the ongoing civil war in Sudan, I decided to ship my car to Oman to continue the adventure.

Middle East

5,900 miles  ·  6 weeks
My time in the Middle East was brief, lasting just about six weeks. I shipped my car in a container from Mombasa, Kenya, to Salalah, Oman. From there, I traveled through countries like the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and more, exploring the diverse cultures and landscapes of the region.

Asia

14,000 miles  ·  6 months
My journey through Asia began in Turkmenistan and took me through Central Asia and Russia to Mongolia, where I spent two months working and preparing for the next leg of the trip. After an incredible drive through China to Nepal, visa challenges altered my plans to reach Southeast Asia. Now, I’ll continue through India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and China again, aiming to eventually reach Australia.
